comment [de]	Der erste Molar des Oberkiefers besitzt eine Länge von ca. 21 mm und ist der erste bleibende Zahn der im Alter von ca. 6 Jahren durchtritt. Die rhomboedrische Kaufläche weist 4 Höcker auf, von denen der größte der mesio- palatinale Höcker ist, der an der palatinalen Seite noch einen zusätzlichen, ohne Funktion aufweisenden Höcker hat ( Tuberculum carabelli). Die beiden bukkalen Höcker sind etwa gleich groß und der disto- palatinale ist der kleinste. Der Zahn besitzt drei Wurzeln, zwei bukkal und eine palatinal angeordnet.

comment [en]	The first molar tooth of maxilla has a length about 21 mm and erupts at about 6 years. The occlusal surfaces is rhomboid with four cusps. The distobuccal cusp is connected  to the mesiopalatal by an oblique ridge. On the mesiopalatal cusp you can find a tubercle (cusplet of Carabelli). The maxillary first molar has one big palatal and two buccal widely separated roots.
