comment [de]	Die Nasenscheidewand teilt die Nasehöhle in zwei seperate Höhlen auf. Ein Großteil des Nasenseptums besteht aus dem Pflugscharbein und der Lamina perpendicularis des Siebbeins. Ein weiterer Teil besteht aus Knorpel und der vorderste Anteil des Septums, der sog. beweglche Teil, wird wiederum von Knorpel, aber hauptsächlich von Haut gebildet. Alle Oberflächen des Nasenseptums sind mit Schleimhaut ausgekleidet.

It is composed of a central supporting skeleton formed by the vomer and the perpendicular process of ethmoidal bone. The septal cartilage forms another part of the nasal septum and the most anterior part of the septum consists of the mebranous part also called the mobile part (skin and cartilage). All surfaces of the septum are covered by a mucous membrane.
